How vast and profound is the influence of the subtile powers of Heaven and of Earth!

Profil and artistic process

In a society of overconsumption favoring accumulation and abundance, I try to make my life simpler in order to value what is essential to my own existence. This leads me to reconsider my living environment, my surroundings and, of course, my process of creating.

I came back essentially to painting and drawing for the simplicity of expression. Furthermore, now that meditation has taken an important part in my creating process, it leads me to the state of self abandonment that I desire.

I tend to edulcorate my space in order to accentuate emptiness over opulence. Colour is more often expressed by neutrality and the amalgamation of numerous colours. It is applied in a process of successive subtractions that insists on the depth of matter and suggests a time space between pigments and air. Equilibrium is translated by the fragility of the lines that unite the simple shapes of the elements. A universe of shadows and light, of signs and matter, of abstraction and symbols, of consciousness and unconsciousness.

An important part of my reflection is to try to harmonize the complexity of the human being, of his environment and of the essentials for his survival. I question the limits, the connections, the duality and the respect around us. My reflections become an imaginative pictogram looking for the essentials and my own equilibrium
